Day 6 - Sunday: Farewells and Adventures Continue

Trips are so anticipated it hurts and when you travel with our family it is never dull.   More on that later.

However, today, Joe, Jordan and Papa and Steve and his family all have to depart.  Leaving as they arrived, in waves, they took long last looks as they headed out as they came on the Magical Express.  Our massive party of 13 that took the Disney App by storm was now down to four.  So this special forces small team was now ready to hit Disney World.

That left Jen, Jill, Jake, and myself heading out to explore.  Once everyone left, we headed to Epcot where we enjoyed the World Showcase and its only open country, France.  We had a morning of treats and coffee in the little tucked away spot where only a handful go that early.

After that Churros were in order and we snacked a bit while we tried to get Fast Passes.  This led us to Muppets 3D which I think is one of the funniest shows here.  Jake didn't think so much. LOL   But it was air conditioned and got us out of the heat.

Once done we found our way aboard a boat and sailed over to Disney Studios stopping at the launches around the boardwalk and Swan and Dolphin.  As we docked at Studios, we made our way to Rock N Roller Coaster which is one of other favorites.  I got noticed in the line as one of the posters displayed me in concert.  Very cool.

Needless to say....we didn't make it on Tower of Terror this time as they were repairing one of the sides of the ride which didn't allow Fast Passes and the main line way to long.  The heat of the day was definitely building but we were still moving on.

Our next choice was to take another ride on Star Tours this time we hit Hoth and Corruscent.  We even got noticed in the line again!

Dinner at le Celliear
With thunderstorms building again, we decided to make our way back to the hotel and get ready for dinner where we had reservations at Le Cellier in Canada.  Once back at the Poly, Jake and I hopped in line for another Dole Whip which became our traditional snack break between parks and dinner.

Rains did begin as lightning struck all around and cleared out the pool but then stopped for us to get back on the Monorail to EPCOT.  We were all quite hungry and ready to try a new dining location.   We laughed and told stories of the past days events.  So many funny things.

Once we left, we strolled through the UK and caught a quick show with the British Revolution and the rain drops started. Jake had his heart set on a special gift in Japan.  As we got there we shopped around and then the skies OPENED UP BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!   We were now stuck in Mitsukoshi's Department store during the storm.  With Illuminations announcements saying "We are currently delayed" due to the storm.

Once it let up we decided to head back to hotel via Lyft from the Beach Club before the next big downpour.  We spent a little time just wandering around the lobby before turning in.

By this time, we heard everyone who had left earlier that day were now back to their homes.  Glad all had uneventful flights but I know how hard it is to leave this place.

We will be back together again.
